Beads make a great addition to knitting projects. They look very impressive, and the technique is actually shockingly easy. The additional weight can do fabulous things to the drape of your knitted fabric.

I generally recommend size 8/0 seed beads for laceweight projects where you want to add some subtle sparkle without too much extra weight.

There are generally about 600 beads in a 20 gram package.
